Dropped kerbs and vehicle crossings in Kent

We specialise in vehicle crossings and dropped kerb installations, with our own dedicated crossing team holding New Road and Street Works certification.

Do you need permission for a dropped kerb?

Almost nobody starts out knowing the sequence, so here it is in order.

Dropped kerbs are a specialism here, not a sideline. We run our own dedicated team on this work, qualified and holding New Road and Street Works Act certification, which is what allows the crossing to be built and signed off to the local authority's specification.

We handle the whole task as one controlled job: set out, excavation, sub-base, kerbing and surfacing. Where the crossing needs council approval, it is built to the standard that approval depends on, so it passes inspection rather than coming back as a snag.

Traffic management is provided where the location calls for it, and the site is left clean and made good when the crossing is finished.
